A Memoir Writing Class
Offered by Jasmyne Boswell

Three 8-week classes will be offered (As you can see, classes are now 8 weeks instead of 5 weeks)

  • Tuesday Afternoon 2-4:30 p.m. – January 5 – February 23
  • Wednesday Morning – 9:30-12:00 p.m. – January 6– February 24
  • Wednesday Afternoon – 2-4:30 – p.m. – January 6 – February 24

When you look back at your life, you’re flooded with memories. You’ve had unique experiences that cover the gamut — joy, sadness, love, fear, success, failure and everything in between.

You can capture your life like no one else can. Whether interested in writing short clips for your family archives or a full-fledged memoir for publication, this class will help you get started.

You’ll learn different methods for writing entries that will help paint your portrait and invaluable feedback on style and content. Some writing experience is helpful but not necessary. Bring pen and paper or laptop computer and your memories and imagination.
